A few minutes ago, I realized that it was Groundhog Day; so happy Groundhog Day to everyone.Then I became curious about the origins of this odd holiday. According to Wiki, the idea originated in German weather lore where the prognosticator is a bear or badger. I also did not know that several groundhogs and locations are used! I am not even sure which one is closest to us!
