Public Information

Some people really blitz when they discover how much information concerning them is out on the web. But no need for this; after all, it is public information (i.e. it is open to the public). No need to think that it would increase your chances of a burglary -- that would be crazy as the information is public anyway and already out on the web! Here is our information. I realized this morning that I did not tell people how to find their own, and others', public information on the web. First locate their local government's site. It is your city or county depending on the structure of their local government; ours is a county. Then look for a link to either assessments values, recent sales, or tax information. Then key in the address. Voila! Public information is great.
